Introducing Hotel Athenaeums unique luxury master suite, a tranquil escape based on the concept 'Flowering Eden' taking inspiration from the beauty of nature in order to create a tranquil escape. The room features a stunning wildflower mural as a luxurious chandelier light to the living space which is also linked to the stunnung ethereal gold installation created above the bed with bespoke pendant lights suspended within the design.
Humans feel most comfortable in a natural environment, and with this room i wanted to reinforce the feeling of well-being with the use of natural materials and biophilic design. Nature in its limitless diversity moves into interior spaces and creates emotions. This space is inspired by flora and fauna particularly utilising textures from nature and adopting these to create a calming interior. This master suite captures the highlights of the natural world.
Another focal point to this design is the use of glass with a translucent adhesive film made from the delicate and very filigree skeleton leaves to create an airy and light surface. The array of natural elements that fill this suite create a calming environment for guests to relax.
As you enter the ensuite bathroom, you are drawn to this dramatic live wall full of an array of fauna. The large bathtub is featured on the right with a wooden panelled wall as well as a pebble feature floor to add texture. A duel shower is featured to the left of the bathroom with glossy green tiles. The array of luscious foliage and other elements of nature that fill this suite creates a calming environment for guests to relax.
