Creating a Lobby, Restaurant and Master Suite within a luxury concept hotel within Westminster.
The Crosstree group recieved planning permission to build a new 'Concept Hotel' in Piccadily in Westminster, London oppositve the Ritz hotel. The origional hotel has been knocked down and the new proposal is for a multiuse site with the hotel occupying basement, ground, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. They were looking for innovative interior designs for this new project in the city centre. My designs needed to satisfy the guests varying needs. The new hotel is also 5 star and includes the wow factor to set it apart from the existing competition.
The concept I developed for this Hotel was based on 'The Beauty of Nature'. I have always been passionate about incorporating nature into design and bringing the outside in, so I was very enthusiastic about this concept. The idea is centered around natural textures and materials with a modern contemporary feel. With a rise of sustainable design, I thought this concept 'The Beauty of Nature' would stand out from other commercial spaces in London.
